CHALLENGE
The task was to create a Limited Edition Tuborg Christmas Beer with a cutting edge design that took the Christmas beer’s very familiar universe; re-imagined it, and turned/pushed it towards 18-28 year olds in bars and clubs throughout the country.
SOLUTION
The label on the Tuborg Christmas Beer is iconic and well known. By reusing the label as a fundamental element in the design, we reinforced the brand’s iconic status and simultaneously played with the “Familiar action” to tear off the label of a bottle. It was a sort of re-collage created on the basis of bearing the brand’s identity. The design was made in 3 variants and was signed by Wonderland.
RESULTS
”The result was a design that contributed to the product being sold out in the first part of the campaign” The response from bars and clubs was extremely positive and expressed an increasing demand for limited edition product designs. Wonderland also made the Tuborg Christmas Beer Limited Edition 2012, with a highly engaging Facebook campaign where we involved users in the selection of this year’s design.
